5 MOVING BOTTLES at the US RUBBER COMPANY MILL

This installation at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, RI opened on February 8th 2024 with 3 handmade pallets to support the moveable large scale clay vessels. Over the next 3 weeks I was present daily, working in the gallery space. I used 2,200 pounds of hand mixed clay to handbuild 5 bottles that I ultimately destroyed in a closing ceremony. The clay was then recycled to make new work.
